LT1 Installation costs to date
This is a list I probably should not be starting since I may just get depressed. But this is the approximate cost and the parts needed to date of what it takes to get an LT1 installed into an '82 El Camino. This is just for the engine and not everything that I'm spending to get the car back on the road. For example I am redoing all of the hoses in Braid. There would be some custom hoses need, for instance the power steering to connect the new pump to the old gear box, and you could get them cheaper in rubber. I'm just stupid and trying to do much of the upgrades that I would do later on now.
